What a Photo Shoot!!!

I had a great photo shoot with a former co-worker and her kids... we've done shoots before, and they are always up for anything... and often coming up with their own ideas! We had a blast!

Caramiya

I had the priviledge of shooting precious little, six day old Caramiya. She's only a little over five pounds, and already a beauty!!!

Grandparenting... What A Joy!

I picked Kylah up at her pre-school yesterday, it was so great to see her face light up when she saw me at the gate, then run to me and give me a big hug! She took my hand and led me to the office so I could sign her out and so that she could pick up all her crafts, schoolwork and daily report (all positive). And at home after dinner she drew this great picture, of my house, with stairs, attic, kitchen and couch (which she had to point out to me with rolled eyes, because, duh, I'm grandma). And while she was drawing the X's and O's she said "and this means hugs and kisses." - oh my melting heart.

My Latest Project

I just finished grouting my ceramic mosaic table, and I'm so pleased with the results. I've been collecting broken ceramic pieces for about ten years, waiting for the day I would find just the right table, and be able to do this project. I have two matching white iron malt shop-type chairs, and I will find some matching fabric to cover the seats with.
